What are the cases of gaskets

Here are some practical cases for choosing gaskets:

Case 1:
In the assembly of automobile engines, due to the high working temperature inside the engine and the presence of corrosive media such as engine oil, as well as the high tightening force of bolts. Therefore, metal gaskets, such as stainless steel gaskets, are usually chosen to withstand high temperatures, corrosion resistance, and high pressure.

Case 2:
In general household furniture assembly, such as the connection of tables and chairs, the main consideration is to reduce friction and disperse pressure to avoid damage to the wood surface. At this point, rubber or plastic gaskets will be chosen as they can provide some cushioning and protection, and have lower costs.

Case Three:
In chemical pipeline systems, due to the corrosive nature of the transported chemicals and the possibility of temperature and pressure changes in the pipelines. At this point, PTFE gaskets may be chosen, which have excellent chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and good sealing performance.

Case Four:
In the connection of high-voltage electrical equipment, copper gaskets are used to ensure good conductivity and pressure resistance. Copper gaskets can not only withstand high pressure, but also ensure stable conduction of current.

Case 5:
In building structures, such as the connection between steel beams, considering the effects of vibration and long-term loads, spring washers may be selected to prevent bolt loosening and enhance the stability of the connection.

These cases demonstrate the importance of selecting suitable gaskets based on specific working conditions and requirements in different application scenarios.
